Definition of Statistics:
Statistics has been defined as the mathematical science of making decisions and drawing conclusions from data in situations of uncertainty.

Different meanings:
1. Singular: refers to experiment, collection, organization, summarization, analysis and interpretation of data. 
2. Plural: aggregate of facts
3. Plural of statistic: to define population on the base of sample.
